The ISVW – International School for Philosophy – will host a one-week course on the Ethics of Technology from 17 to 21 February 2025 in Leusden.
The course aims for participants to gain knowledge about various urgent ethical issues within technology. The following themes will be discussed: technology and our daily lives, technology and relationships, technology and a fair society, technology and interpreting the world, and technology and digital balance. We will introduce ourselves to the ideas of different philosophers through lectures and panel discussions, and we will reflect on our ideas and views through documentaries and walks. ESDiT Fellows Lily Frank, Cindy Friedman, Julia Rijssenbeek, Arthur Gwagwa, Naomi Jacobs and Jeroen Hopster will be guest lecturers of the course.
