Artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important role in our society and this will only increase in the coming years. But where are the limits of ethical use of such a promising technology?
Julia Hermann will give a talk on AI as a socially disruptive technology at the Zomersymposium organized by AG Eindhoven on 13 July in Eindhoven.
In her talk, Julia will talk to a philosophy-interested lay audience how engineering philosophers classify artificial intelligence as a socially disruptive technology, because it not only changes our daily lives but raises fundamental questions and creates uncertainty.
Other talks at the Zomersymposium will be given by Lambèr Royakkers on the moral compass of artificial intelligence and Jan Broersen on the control (or lack of) on intelligence.
The event will be held in dutch.
